Mr & Mrs Taylor were looking to purchase a Glass Veranda and required it to be installed at their home in Leatherhead, Surrey.
They contacted us as they wanted to create a covered space blending the inside to the outside and increase their living space.
We had the aluminium framework finished in a semi gloss white paint to match with their doors and windows.
Maximising the light under the veranda they chose 6mm clear toughened glass (self cleaning and tinted glass options are available).
If in the summer months they get too hot under the glass they have the option of adding sail blinds or a Verandah awning.
By creating a covered space they can relax and enjoy the garden all year round.
We designed the veranda to cover the full width of the house to maximise the space.
A major advantage is that the patio area will be a dry area and help avoid a slippery surface.
Now the patio pathway will be clear from frost and snow free during the winter months.
Verandas are virtually maintenance free and just require washing with warm soapy water from time to time.
