Our client was looking for a Victorian style glass Veranda supplied and installed at their home in Bretton, Peterborough.
They contacted us as they wanted to create a covered space blending the inside to the outside and decided on a glass veranda.
They wanted the aluminium framework finished in a semi-gloss clay brown, paint code RAL 8003.
To maximise the light under the veranda they chose 6mm clear toughened glass.
If in the summer months they get too hot under the glass they have the option of adding sail blinds or a Veranda Awning.
By creating a covered space they can relax and enjoy the garden all year round.
We designed the veranda to cover the full width of the house to maximise the space, providing an area to sit in the dry and enjoy their garden.
By adding decorative scrolls and Victorian lamp post bases to the veranda the appearance of the structure was enhanced.
The veranda is easy to maintain the local window cleaner can clean the glazing and framework with a long reach soft brush and hose.
