One of the most important aspects of your shutters is the durability. This is why aluminum is one of the most popular choices for these shutters. This metal is very strong, resistant to corrosion and makes easy to operate shutters. Aluminum is also relatively maintenance free which means you will not have to spend a lot of time fixing your shutters. There are other materials that can be used to create these shutters. However, they will generally not be as durable as the aluminum ones. PVC shutters can have a number of problems which will end up costing you in the long run.
The Power
When looking at security shutters, you will notice that there are 3 types which are manual, hard wired electric and solar powered. As the name suggests, the manual shutters will need to be manually operated. The electric shutters can be operated with the push of a button.
