Our client had been looking for a local family run company to install a Glass Veranda. Seeing an advert in their local magazine they called SBI. One of the surveyors Pat Cunningham had a chat with them. Pat called round to measure up and confirm the final price.
Our client wanted a Victorian Style Glass Veranda with a glass roof. Along with an easily maintained aluminium framework. Adding ornate posts and decorative scrolls they wanted to create a traditional looking veranda.
Their garden is south facing the Veranda could overheat in the summer. As result they added a Veranda Awning to keep it cooler. Rolling the awning out will help to reduce glare and heat. Attaching the Veranda Awning to the glass veranda framework prevents it from blowing around. Electric operation enables any user to simply roll the awning in or out. Remote control operation allows the user to stop the awning in any position. Pressing the remote control button results in the awning retracting into a neat cassette housing. The client had a choice of over two hundred acrylic covers. They chose a striped cover and this added a splash of colour to the garden.
An outside area was created to provide shelter and shade whatever the weather is like. Pat designed the veranda to cover the width of the house to maximise the space.
Annually servicing the veranda awning will keep the it in top condition for years to come.
SBI verandas and canopies come with a 10 year warranty and a 25 year life expectancy.
SBI veranda awnings come with a 5 year warranty on the parts. Having SBI service the awning annually will help it last for many more years.
