Mr & Mrs White of Broadstairs, Kent were experiencing problems with glare and heat in their conservatory. They contacted SBI and asked us to carry out an on site survey. James one of our designers met with them to discuss the project. James came up with a design concept to determine what would be the best solution to reduce glare and heat.
Not wanting to make the area gloomy by blocking out daylight they decided on a white semi translucent material. Having ruled out having electric pleated blinds as they wanted to avoid maintenance. Static sail blinds were deemed the best solution as they are virtually maintenance free.
Sail blinds create a modern stylish design to the roof space. From a practical point of view they can be removed and cleaned in a washing machine.
Our installation team worked hard to complete the installation on time and without any mess. As you can see from the pictures the installation was a complete success. The gaps between the blinds allow for dapple light. This keeps the area bright and light without the intense heat and glare. A 5 year warranty comes with the sails and Inshade manufacture them in the UK. Perfectly fitted by SBI Ltd.
SBI along with Inshade have a created a spectacular show site at Flackley Ash Hotel.
