Our client needed their existing traditional Victorian recover awning We also serviced the shop awnings in Oxford.
The existing awnings are over a hundred years old. Built into the shop fronts. They hadn’t been cleaned, recovered or serviced in many years.
We carried out a full service. Which included checking the wall fixings, retaining bolts and tightening where required.
Our installers checked the moving parts. The parts were tested cleaned and lubricated. To help provide smooth opening and closing of the awning.
The spring-loaded barrel that the fabric rolls around was charged up.
We checked the height and adjusted the awning to make sure they were level.
The internal timber housing was cleaned out before the new cover was attached.
We used the traditional method of nailing the cover to the timber front.
Our client is delighted with the appearance of the awning.
He will be using SBI to clean and service the awnings. On an annual basis to keep them in top condition for years to come.
