Mr Weatherill required an off-grid solar garage door as his old metal up and over garage door was too awkward to operate. The idea was to replace the steel up and over door with an easier-to-operate door. As the Off-Grid Solar Garage Door is made from aluminimum it is light and hard-wearing. Being that the garage is away from his house and no power runs to it. His major consideration when choosing a replacement garage door was that it could be used off-grid.
He required a simple to use off-grid roller garage door. He chose a 100% free green energy the new solar garage door. The roller garage door rolls up and takes up less space. Having a choice of 12 colours to choose from he chose smart anthracite. Other factors in choosing the solar garage door were no need for a power supply connection. This was one of the main drivers as the garage is without power. No drilling through walls and laying cables through rooms.
