Our client required a Veranda Awning along with a side screen to compliment the Veranda we had previously installed for him at his home in Coulsdon, Surrey.
He wanted the Glass Veranda awning mounted under the glass to provide shade. By installing the Glass Veranda Awning under the glass it helps to keep the cover cleaner. We also install Veranda Awnings above the glazing if heat is a big issue. Fitting above helps to dissipate the heat before it penetrates the glass.
Some other requirements were heating, lighting a remote control side screen and a fixed polycarbonate window at the front.
SBI had to have special steel brackets manufactured as there wasn’t room to install the veranda. They needed the brackets so they could get the required height at the rear above the property. As the building is a single-story extension.
We needed to work with different manufacturers to provide the client with what he wanted. Milwood supplied the veranda, Weinor supplied the under glass veranda awning, spotlighting bar and two heaters. Frigerio supplied the remote control side screen.
An outside area was created to provide shelter and shade whatever the weather is like.
