I was unable to retract the awning which measures about 5m by 3.5m. Pat and John of SBI Ltd were most helpful and suggested ways to to reduce any further damage. Following a couple of days with strong winds the awning dropped to within 50cm of the ground. As this was more problematic with further strong winds forecast SBI were able the following day to send two of their operators, Gerard and Kevin, who temporarily retracted the awning making it safe until new parts arrive from Germany. SBI Ltd supplied and fitted a top of the range Awning for my new extension which essentially is a sun lounge. I can thoroughly recommend this Company as all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. From first considering a Veranda from SBI to final fitting, everyone has been really friendly, polite and helpful. There were slight delays due to Covid and poor weather conditions but we have now got a wonderful covered patio area complete with remote controlled blind and light bar.
