Our client contacted us as he needed a covered space to park his Teslar electric car and charge it. He decided on a Carport and Garage Door for his home in Chinnor, Oxfordshire.
He wanted the low-maintenance aluminimum framework finished in a semi-gloss Traffic black RAL 9017.
One of the options for the glazing chosen was 16mm opal polycarbonate roofing sheets.
The opal helps to maximise the light whilst blocking harmful ultraviolet rays and allowing for privacy.
Other glazing options are Clear, Bronze (tinted) in 16mm triple-wall polycarbonate. 6mm Solid glass is also available at an additional price and comes in either clear, blue, grey, or bronze-tinted options and self-cleaning.
We can powder coat the carport framework in any RAL colour you want.

With the addition of the black space-saving remote-controlled garage door linked up to the Teslar, our client can open and close the garage door via his car or a smart app.
To keep the carport looking good clean it with warm soapy water. Wash off any dirt and rinse with clean water leather off or let it air dry.
