Our client purchased a Blue Tinted Glass Veranda that we installed at her property in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
The space they wanted to cover had limited fixings to fit the Veranda.
We had to make a Free Standing Veranda with a goal post concreted into the ground at the rear.
She needed to increase her covered space so she had somewhere to sit with shelter from the rain.
The veranda has an aluminium framework finished in a semi-gloss black colour RAL 9017.
The glazing was made from 6mm blue-tinted glass.
She wanted to keep the area below the glazing cool in the summer months without blocking out natural light. So she picked the blue-tinted option as it reduces heat and glare.
We designed the veranda to cover the space adjacent to the bungalow to maximise the covered space in the courtyard.
Our client wanted to enclose the free-standing veranda so we added glass sliding doors at the rear and remote control screens on the other 3 sides.
Now they have a glass veranda that can be opened up on hot summer days or closed on cold winter days, with all year use.
The veranda is easy to maintain your local window cleaner can clean the glazing and framework with a long reach soft brush and hose.
SBI verandas and canopies come with a 10-year warranty and a 25-year life expectancy.
