Since we had our veranda fitted in August we’ve experienced extremely (for Britain) hot summer days, snow, torrential rain, and high winds.
Our veranda has withstood the lot without any problems whatsoever.
We were worried that we wouldn’t be able to have a veranda as we wanted it to be fitted to our garden room rather than to the house, but the guys who came to do the survey (and who later fitted the veranda), told us that they would just have to make 4 brackets to attach the roof section to the garden roof, otherwise it was a straightforward fit.
We were kept up to date with the progress and a few weeks later the team arrived and fitted everything within the day. A nicer bunch of guys, you couldn’t ask for and they tidied up after themselves.
Since then, not only did we enjoy summer days under the veranda, but we’ve discovered other uses that we hadn’t previously thought of, like drying washing on an airer on a rainy day, very useful with rising energy prices.
We’re delighted with our veranda and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending SBI as a company.
