We have two cassette-awnings on a sea-front bungalow. They were some ten years old, and I recently had trouble with the gearbox of one of the awnings – snapping off the turning mechanism.
I approached a local awning installer who was unable to obtain parts to repair the awning but quoted to replace both (the replacement cost was pretty expensive). I found SBI Ltd from a web search. They sent an experienced executive to inspect the awnings who quickly identified the make, the model, the problem, and the solution. They provided me with detailed recommendations for repairing/ improving both awnings and a quote. We agreed to proceed. The remedial work is now complete.
The fitters were a pleasure to have in our bungalow, and they were very competent and keen to do a good job. The awnings are now both working smoothly, and are pretty much as good as new.
