We ordered our Sanderson awning about fifteen years ago whilst visiting a local flower show. We have had so much use from it over the years and we were devastated when a local installer said it was not repairable and we needed a new one. We then decided to contact Sanderson who told us they no longer sold awnings and recommended SBI. I spoke to Pat Cunningham at the company who asked me to send photographs of the side of the awning. He knew the make and model and assured me that they could still obtain the parts. James Peel then arranged an appointment for the installers to call. Gerard and Steven arrived yesterday afternoon and within the hour the new motor and wind sensor was installed.
They were very efficient – even cleaned and serviced the awning and set up a new remote control. Even complimented us on the condition of the top-of-the-range awning and told us the exact year of purchase. All working perfectly now and we are ready for the heatwave.
The moral is don’t contact a local installer who will try to sell you a new one for £5,000. Go to the experts. Thank you SBI.
