Mr & Mrs Bell purchased a top-of-the-range Markilux Model 6000 Awning. The full cassette awning covers their patio area in West Glamorgan, Wales.
A problem of having a south-facing garden and large glass patio doors is heat and glare.
SBI awning designer David Veever specified a Markilux model 6000 awning to provide shade from the sun and reduction of glare.
By pressing a button on the remote control they can open or close the awning and Shade Plus drop valance is also operated by the remote control.
In the winter months when the sun is lower in the sky the drop valance is a great addition to cut out glare.
Extending the Markilux Modle 6000 awning 3.5 metres out provides them with protection from the sun and rain.
Markilux Model 6000 awning is a full Cassette awning that has top-quality components and is at home in a commercial situation as it is in a domestic setting.
