Our client was looking for a glass Veranda on a balcony. Supplied and installed at their home in Holt, Norfolk.
They wanted the Veranda to cover the 1st-floor timber balcony. To create a covered space blending the inside to the outside.
After deciding on a glass veranda and a dark brown framework, they got in contact with us.
They wanted a low maintenance aluminium framework coloured to match in with the timber house.
To maximise the light under the veranda they chose 6mm clear toughened glass.
If in the summer months they get too hot under the glass they have the option of adding a Veranda Awning. Don’t forget you may want to add electric screens to the sides and heating.
By creating a covered space they can relax and enjoy the views from the balcony overlooking the garden all year round.
We designed the veranda to cover the full width of the balcony area to maximize the space. The veranda now provides an area to sit in the dry and enjoy their garden.
By adding a heater to the glass veranda. They can use the veranda on cold days and late into the evening.
Our heaters are infrared so they heat the person rather than the air. The heater is dimmable in three stages and comes with remote control.
The glass veranda is easy to maintain. The local window cleaner can clean the glazing and framework with a long reach soft brush and hose.
